Grand Harbor Resort and Marina is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and repair of marina facilities and infrastructure. This role is essential to the safety, cleanliness, and smooth day-to-day operations of the property. The ideal candidate is proactive, hands-on, and has general knowledge of building. plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems and property infrastructure to extend the life of the facility.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout the marina and its facilities.
Ensure parking lots, docks, walkways, and surrounding grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Conduct regular safety inspections of key systems including fire prevention equipment, fuel dispensing stations, and hazardous material storage areas.
Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Perform general repair and maintenance tasks such as plumbing, painting, basic carpentry, and upkeep of marina facilities.
Complete interior and exterior touch-up and finish painting as needed.
Safely operate hand and power tools to perform maintenance tasks and maintain marina grounds, docks, and common areas.
Collaborate with other team members, contractors, and vendors during repair projects and facility upgrades.
Remain alert to potential safety hazards and report issues promptly to management.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management team.

- Proven skills or the willingness to be trained in equipment maintenance and marina operations
